Pervious concrete is a special porous mix that allows water to drain through it, reducing water runoff and allowing groundwater recharge.  Pervious concrete is a great, environmentally friendly solution for stormwater management, and many times eliminates the need for expensive underground stormwater management pits, ponds, and drainage systems. Pervious concrete, also known as porous concrete or permeable concrete, can be used in driveways, parking lots, patios, roads, and more.  Coloring can be added to the mix for a more aesthetically pleasing finish.  Restuccia Excavating, Inc. began doing pervious concrete in 2011 and has done several projects in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region.
